The addition of cooked ground beef, tomato paste, shredded cheese and hot water is all that is necessary to complete this entrée. The Mafalda Pasta used in this product is slightly thicker pasta that will hold up well when held at temperature for an extended period, without deteriorating or breaking down. We offer two preparation methods on the product label: Stove Top (or Steam Kettle) Directions and Oven Cook Directions. Although the use of either set of directions make this product very easy to prepare, the Oven Cook Directions allow for the very efficient and simple method of combining our product with the necessary components to complete the Entrée in a steam table pan, cook it in the oven and simply place the pan in the steam table for serving.
