A compact LiDAR-based distance sensor measures objects up to 50 cm (20 inches) away, transmitting distance data via a hobby servo-like pulsed signal. A digital microcontroller pin can decode the measured distance from the pulse's duration. This sensor operates within an input voltage range of 3.0 V to 5.5 V and features 0.1-inch pin spacing for easy integration with standard solderless breadboards and 0.1-inch perfboards.
